The Hairy Biker duo are  Si King, and Dave Myers. They are two hairy-faced, and very down-to-earth cooks who share a love for hearty, wholesome food. They are well known all over the UK (and further beyond) from their  BBC TV series The Hairy Bikers.

Both the bikers simply love food  and they can’t get enough of it. The problem is, after so many years of eating anything (and everything!) they wanted, they found that they were piling the pounds (and the stones) on.  It began to affect their health.  In 2012 they realised they both faced a problem after Si became quite ill with type 2 diabetes and was pronounced morbidly obese. 

They both set out to lose weight and decided to shared their weight loss journey with viewers to their TV show.  Si and Dave lost 3 stone each in a short period of three months.  They accomplished real weight loss just by making small changes and cutting back on their daily food portions.  They also devised healthier versions of their favourite recipes.  Dave and Si didn’t really diet , they certainly didn't change their lives nor did they live on lettuce and water. All they did was indulge themselves, but in a healthier lifestyle, which meant eating good food and just a bit more exercise.

The Hairy Dieters book is chock full of all their favorite recipes, which just happen to also be healthy.  When it was published it knocked the well known and top selling 50 Shades of Grey  its spot at the top of the UK bestseller chart. 

"Health and happiness" is a subject that's very close to both Hairy Bikers and they have decided to share it with their viewers and fans all over the UK. They have now formed the Hairy Bikers Diet Club to help everyone else get fit and healthy and enjoy a great lifestyle.  Remember -
