Many of today's film and music stars are associated with particular diets. Some of the best known are Beyonce, Halle Berry, Angelina Jolie and Jeniffer Lopez. Due to the demands on their time, they tend to eat small meal, but eat, or rather graze, frequently throughout the day. Instead of eating three big meals, they snack every 2-3 hours. This is the basis of almost all celebrity diets that work.
According to the diet gurus, several small meals a day is an excellent way to boost the body's metabolism, which invariably will lead to weight loss. Taking on small amounts of food every three hours or so has led to this routine being called the Three Hour Diet.
It is the basis of almost every diet used by bodybuilders who are experts at losing fat. This method of dieting is of great assistance in curbing cravings for particular food cravings, especially the sugar rich food, and it makes sure that the dieter doesn't go hungry.
Hunger is the greatest enemy of the dieter. Not feeling those pangs of hunger enables them to stay on the diet and keep their cravings under control.
The Zone Diet is very similar to the Three Hour Diet, in that it spreads out three meals throughout the day with additional snacks taken in between. The Zone Diet tries to achieve a balance between the body's hormones by use of a food plan with a strict percentage of nutrients: 30% protein, 30% fat and 40% carbs. No processed foods are allowed on this diet - burgers are barred as are all kinds of junk foods.
The High Protein Diet is also very similar to the Zone diet, as it follows the basic mantra of a balance of food types. It is most often said to be one of the Celebrity Diets That Work. Many athletes follow this diet, as do Jennifer Anniston and Demi Moore.
